Courteney Cox and David Arquette are officially through.
Their divorce was finalized Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, People reports.
The final judgment legally ended their decade-long marriage, which in Hollywood is practically a lifetime.
The couple announced their separation in October 2010 but it took Cox, 48, and Arquette, 41, nearly two years to actual file divorce papers - - they filed on the same day in June 2012.
David Arquette and Courteney Cox showed respect and love to one another even during their divorce.
Considered the best of exes, their divorce proceedings couldn't have been more cordial. They were both seeking joint custody for their only child, 8-year-old daughter Coco, and continued to have friendly exchanges all the while.
"He's my best friend in the world," the former "Friends" star said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in January. "I love him."
The feeling is mutual, as Arquette expressed to People that Cox is "incredible ... I love her, too, and she's an amazing person, a beautiful person."
